Abstract
TV2/North-Digital is the first channel that broadcast interactive services on DVB-T in Denmark. There is a predominance of young viewers interested in TV2/North-Digital even though the programmes addressing older viewers. The young viewers are interested in the channel because of the new technology and the old viewers are more interested in the programmes but more sceptical of the interactive services. Old viewers have also problems when multi tasking between the digital surplus values and the audiovisual expression. The men in the residence show also much higher enthusiasm about the interactive services than the women.
