Sheri Lamont (2003). Case Study: Successful Adoption of a User-Centered Design Approach During the Development of an Interactive Television Application. Proceedings of the 1st European Conference on Interactive Television: from Viewers to Actors? pp.13--18. http://www.brighton.ac.uk/interactive/euroitv/euroitv03/Papers/Paper2.pdf

Abstract
When creating a user experience for interactive television applications, or for any interface for that matter, it is important to start user research early in the design cycle, so that improvements can be made on the user experience through iterations. Unfortunately, during the development of user experiences this does not often happen. This paper discusses how a user-centered design approach was successfully adopted during the creation of an interactive program guide. Specific tips and tricks for effectively working with development teams will also be presented.
